What it covers

Covered engine and transmission components

The warranty applies to the engine and transmission components specifically named in the written warranty for that vehicle when a covered mechanical failure occurs during the selected time-and-mileage period.

DriveZone pays 100% of authorized covered parts and labor with no deductible for a covered repair. Because coverage can differ by vehicle, the final Buyers Guide and written limited warranty identify the exact covered components, authorization process, repair obligations, and claim procedure.

What it does not cover

Electrical systems and non-listed items

Electrical and electronic systems are not covered. Unless the vehicle-specific written warranty expressly says otherwise, coverage also excludes maintenance services, normal wear items, cosmetic concerns, accessories, and any component not specifically listed as covered.

Protecting the vehicle

Damage caused by misuse is not a covered failure

A claim may be denied when the failure was caused or made worse by misuse, abuse, neglect, intentional damage, racing or competitive driving, reckless operation, unauthorized performance modifications, improper towing or overloading, lack of required fluids or lubrication, failure to perform reasonable maintenance, overheating, or continuing to drive after a warning light or obvious mechanical problem.

Damage caused by a collision, fire, flood, theft, vandalism, environmental conditions, or an improper or unauthorized repair is also outside this limited powertrain coverage. These exclusions apply when the excluded condition caused or contributed to the claimed failure.

If something happens

How to request warranty service

  1. Stop driving safely. Continuing to operate a vehicle with overheating, low oil pressure, warning lights, unusual noises, or loss of fluid can cause additional damage.
  2. Contact DriveZone promptly. Call (361) 420-9663 or email sales@drivezone.cc.
  3. Do not authorize teardown or repairs first. Give DriveZone a reasonable opportunity to inspect the vehicle and explain the approved repair process, except for reasonable emergency steps needed to prevent further damage.
  4. Provide requested records. Keep maintenance receipts and provide information reasonably needed to evaluate whether the failure is covered.
